The Shunyata Gamma Interconnect XLR The gamma Series interconnects represent a paradigm shift in cable performance at their price level. Using 25 years of Shunyata Research’s documented science and innovation, Gamma Series cables upend price and performance axioms in the industry — and demand to be heard even when compared to cables two to three times the cost.
Gamma signal cables are made with single-crystal, continuous-cast Ohno copper — an ultra-pure conductor normally found in far more expensive cables. The conductors are extruded using Shunyata Research’s exclusive PMZ (Precision Matched Impedance) process, which tightens the tolerances of the conductor surface, dielectric and shield to minute variances. All Gamma cables are then conditioned for four days using KPIP v2™.
