Shunyata Gamma Power Cable
The Shunyata Gamma NR Power Cable The gamma Series power cables represent a paradigm shift in performance at their price level. Using 25 years of Shunyata Research’s documented science and innovation, Gamma power cables upend price and performance axioms — and demand to be heard even when compared to cables two to three times the cost.
Gamma power cables use OFE C10100 copper — the highest grade available, with a minimum 99.99% purity and a conductivity rating of 101% IACS. The conductors are extruded using Shunyata Research’s exclusive PMZ (Precision Matched Impedance) process, run at one-quarter speed for minute tolerances. All Gamma cables are conditioned for four days using KPIP v2™.
Shunyata’s audiophile-grade connectors are crafted from high-grade solid brass with gold-plated pure copper contacts. Hermetically sealed within robust polycarbonate head-shells, the connectors are protected against corrosion for a lifetime of reliable performance.
Technology
OFE C10100 copper — Highest-grade oxygen-free copper, 99.99% purity, 101% IACS conductivity.
NR (Noise Reduction) — Gen2 NR technology, proven effective in heart surgery labs across the US and Europe. Measurably reduces power-line noise (NR variant).
XC (eXtra Current) — Optimised for the run from wall outlet to power distributor, without noise reduction filters for maximum dynamic current delivery (XC variant).
PMZ (Precision Matched Impedance) — Extrusion at one-quarter speed for precision conductor and dielectric tolerances.
KPIP v2™ — Four days of Kinetic Phase Inversion processing at the atomic level.
Connector: C15/C19 | Standard length: 1.75m
