A tacky polymer pad. Lower the stylus onto it, lift it off, and the deposits come away with no fluid and no brushing. The gentlest cleaning method there is, because nothing moves sideways against the cantilever at all. Use it between sides and keep the fluid for occasional deeper cleaning.
